Our Values

We have a vision for every expression of creative community to be a force for good in their local area.

We want to give back to the communities around us, impact our neighbours for the better, and leave as little footprint on our planet as possible.

ARK’s Impact

Each year we reflect on the year just gone and measure our social and environmental impact. We don’t just want to be people that come to an area, take what we want and leave. We want to be rooted in the local area to have a positive impact on our neighbourhood.

ARK for Good

ARK for Good is our way of giving back to the local area. Each year, a portion of our income is donated to local charities and organisations, chosen by our community, who share our values.

In our King’s Cross space, ARK for Good looks like giving time as well as finances, by encouraging the giving of our members’ skills to projects. Twice a year we run spARK, a three-month free membership with coaching for new businesses to provide a place where they can work and be supported.

Social and Environmental Impact

We believe the way we do business communicates our values. We care about operating ethically and sustainably, which is why we’re a certified B Corporation and approved by the Mayor's Good Work Standard, operating to the best business practices we can.

We take steps to reduce the carbon footprint in our buildings, engaging in ethical procurement, charitable giving, and connecting with other nearby organisations who are on the same journey.

In our King’s Cross space, we have adjusted our building and operations to have a positive impact environmentally, which you can read more about in our Impact Report, and at arkcoworking.com.

ARK base is partnered with Kings Cross Church, a church that recklessly gives itself away to God, each other and the people of Kings Cross and beyond. We too share this vision to serve Jesus and His purpose to make all things new, if you want to find out more about this please visit www.kxc.org.uk.
